“Songwriting is never the same process, ever. That’s the humbling part. It’s magic—one minute it’s not there, and the next minute it’s there. That said, it begins with some type of inspiration. There has to be something that affects me in a way that’s strong enough to make me want to say something about it. Maybe it’s an emotion I personally have, or a feeling that talking with somebody has given me, or something I see looking out the window, or even a commercial I’ve seen on TV. Whatever it is, it’s a catalyst that sparks an emotion, and then that emotion takes over. At that point, words somehow come or music somehow comes, and I’m just trying to get it out of there.”

I just read what you put on and I totally agree with you whenever I’m out and about on the road and see something that sparks my interest, I think deeply about it and soon enough I’ve got a little song I’ve made all by myself involving it!! The hard thing is that I’m just a kid who’s still a freshman and I don’t even have the right people to help me but I’ve always had a beautiful voice because I’ve been told so by so many people. I only wish that I knew how to start, of course now I have help from a careers class at my school so things now are a little better but, somehow I’m always wanting to go even further I love making my own songs and singing each one of them until they each sound just right. Yet, I can’t ever see it actually happening with all that’s gone on in my life, but I’m never giving up. I wanna thank you and I wanted to share this with you because you showed me there is still a way to make this work no matter how hard it is and no matter how far away I am so thanks a bunch!!!
